A set of 22-inch wheels from Bentley Continental GT arrived at our workshop in the original silver metallic finish. The wheels showed typical signs of use, including paint chips, dents on the rim edges, and areas of corrosion. We carried out a comprehensive restoration, fully restoring both their appearance and technical condition. As a result, the wheels once again look like new and fully match the premium status of the vehicle.

Stage 1. What condition were the wheels in?
After removing the tires, we carried out a thorough inspection of the wheels. Deep scratches, paint chips, and signs of mechanical damage were found on their surface. At the next stage, the wheels were completely disassembled: all fastening bolts were carefully loosened after controlled heating, allowing the joints to be safely released and eliminating the risk of bolt damage or breakage. This ensured the highest quality for the subsequent restoration work.

Stage 2. Surface preparation for painting
The old coating was removed using a chemical stripping process. Hard-to-reach areas were then cleaned using abrasive blasting, and the entire surface was additionally sanded to ensure perfect preparation for the following stages of work.

Stage 3. Masking and thread preparation
The mating surfaces were carefully masked to prevent stress and misalignment during the final assembly process.
The threads were then thoroughly cleaned after surface treatment to ensure that the bolts could be installed smoothly, without the risk of cross-threading or damage.
Stage 4. Painting
Painting these wheels is not particularly complex, with one exception: the workload is almost twice as high as with one-piece wheels, as eight separate components must be processed instead of four.
For this project, the L8Z8 color was selected — one of the most popular wheel finishes used across VAG Group vehicles. Both priming and painting were carried out using powder coating technology. The primer provides effective corrosion protection, while the powder coating we use ensures excellent resistance to weather conditions and long-term durability of the finish.
Stage 5. Assembly
One of the most important stages is assembly. The threaded connections were thoroughly cleaned and prepared, sealant was applied, and all components were assembled using the correct tightening torque and the required assembly sequence.
Stage 6. Final appearance after painting
After completion of the work, the wheels regained their elegant factory appearance. The surface became perfectly smooth, and the coating quality fully meets Bentley standards. The final result highlights the character of the vehicle and restores its premium aesthetic.
